Memories - Wild West 2018
On Wednesday 21st November the Saints Community Project at Brackley Town Football Club went all out in the Wild West. The saloon opened at 10 am with plenty of well received refreshments and of course the American favourite a chocolate fudge cake or two. The cowboys were turning up in their masses.
Larger and Larger joined us and provided a great morning of entertainment and bringing everyone into the spirit of the day ! Yeee hawww. What an amazing performance, it was wonderful to see everyone getting involved.
Hot dogs, corn, slaw and fries were served for lunch followed by warming apple pie. The barn opened after lunch for apple-bobbing and tin can alley. A couple of games of cowboy bingo and the grand raffle brought the day to an exciting end.
Lovely to see so many people joining in the the spirit on a cold wet day in November.
Thank you everyone that made the day special for all our members. Our local branch of Tesco’s for supplying staff to help serve and an amazing fruit hamper. Waitrose for some of our wonderful room decorations and contributions towards the meal and refreshments.
The importance of community was ever present on a day like this. Thank you ! We Rock
