Turn it Pink 

On Wednesday 10th April we joined forces with our community partners Tesco Brackley in their fundraising week for Cancer Research Uk.  

Turn it pink kick started with a selection of fundraising games and quizzes, some wonderful home bakes were on sale. 

We were pleased to welcome the staff from our local store who helped out with the serving of refreshments during our community Bingo session. 

Billy Shepherd  then joined us for an hour for as a personal trainer. We were given the opportunity to have a question and answer session on healthy eating, tips for staying mobile and active longer. We then all joined In an arm exercise class with lots of fun and laughter and funky tunes. 

A hearty lunch was enjoyed by all followed by the pink raffle. We managed to raise £175.25 in only a couple of hours, so a huge thank you to everyone that contributed. I’m sure this amount will be valued by an amazing charity Cancer Research Uk.
