As the difficult month of January is fast diminishing we do love a good show to keep our spirits up. So yesterday we had the old time music show presented to 75 of our members. 

The day started with coffee and a selection of party food canapés donated by Waitrose Brackley and then to everyone’s surprise this years X Factor 2 chair Challenge contestant  Jacqueline Maynard arrived to get us in the mood for the afternoons show. With an amazing rendition with her beautiful welsh voice of shows from across the decades. 

With traditional games and activities on the tables everyone was able to have some fun. 

An early hearty lunch of Steak and Ale pie made handmade that morning by Butlers Pie Company In Brackley served with creamy mash, mushy peas and thick gravy. Followed by pineapple upside down cake and lashings of custard. 

Something Else set the stage and we had a wonderful show of the old time music hall. Which everyone thoroughly enjoyed.  We look welcome the show back in June for our day at the seaside.
