Woof! Woof!

The Saints Community Project has finally gone to the dogs! Not literally of course, it’s still going from strength to strength, but at the end of November after a couple of rearranged dates due of cup replays this special themed event got underway.

Over 60 people turned out with their picnic rugs and blankets on a very frosty November morning.

Paul Dumas and friends warmed participants up and got everyone in good spirits. This was Paul’s first time at the club and he will definitely be invited to return. There was lots of laughter, singing, dancing and his friends were great fun too!

After a well-earned lunch of handmade burgers from the local butchers, with chips, the dog theme took off with a spot of gambling. Dave ran the tote as if he were an experienced bookmaker. There was more fun and laughter with lots of shouting, urging their chosen dog to win and there were some big winners too! One person quadrupled their 30p stake in the 5 races!
