Memories - Easter Egg Hunt
Wednesday 16th March
The Easter Bunny Visited us today at St Janes Park and a great day was had by all who attended.
Some of the First Team and Saints players joined us early on for coffee as they were preparing for their big day out at Cheltenham Races. A couple in particular were incredibly keen to embrace the Easter Bonnet Competition and looked like they were quite happy to stay for the day.
With coffee and hot Cross buns out the way the craft activities commenced. With Easter Egg Painting, Chick Making and final touches to the Bonnets the day started at quite a fun pace.
Roger Entertained us for well over an hour with lots of singing, Guitar playing Dancing to boot. What else do you do on a Wednesday Morning anyway. The Easter Quiz was a challenge and it certainly needed us to rack out Brain Cells.
Luckily Lunch came just in time before the thinking caps got to vexed. A quick game of heads or bunny tales set a very lively pace.
The Afternoon saw the long awaited and very serious Easter bonnet completion, luckily Kevin was on had to help with the adjudication and panel of appointed judges. The judging was a hard task and eventually 4 worthy winners were selected. Well done Ladies and Gents for all the enthusiasm.
The final part flew past with the Easter Raffle; TV Quiz. Easter Lamb and Easter Chick Competitions, before we dressed up warm and collected our baskets ready to go on the big Easter egg hunt around the grounds.
A great mix of 70 people came together today from 2 years to 92 years and all ages I between to enjoy a great day at the Football Club. A huge thank you to everyone that came along.
