Memories - Christmas Lunch 2018
Christmas Traditions with the Saints Community Project
On Wednesday 5th December it was Christmas Luncheon Day and over one hundred members joined us for the Traditional Fayre.
The day started with coffee and mince pies and a quiz created by John one of our members. Once everyone was settled and had won some fabulous delights on the grand tomboys; the Mal Lee Band entertained us all with a host of songs to sing along too getting us all in the festive spirit.
The Mayor and Mayoress of Brackley joined us for a full Christmas Luncheon of Turkey and all the trimmings. A huge thank you to our local stores Co Op and Tescos for assisting with volunteers to help serve up all the delights. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed seeing the Mayor and he managed to have a chat to everyone.
Christmas puddings with Brandy Cream followed by a cheese buffet ensured full bellies. The Mal Lee Band we’re back performing encouraging everyone up for a dance to work off those Christmas puddings with some great hits from past decades.
Everyone had a wonderful time and a great start to the festive season.
